9:00 AM - 10:00 AM    WPSA Summer Youth Meal Service (Pre-registration required for ages 18 yrs. and under) - Breakfast (Youth Summer Meals)
The Weequahic Park Sports Authority Summer Youth Meal Service is made available through the local non-profit to help reduced hunger for ages 18 years old and under during the summer months through volunteerism.   Currently, the Covid-19 crisis has further created declines of standardized living for the many households and families of this region for access to healthy food in which this program will assist with these efforts. We are working with our local community partner (CFBNJ) to provide summer youth meals for ages 18 years old and under Monday-Friday beginning July 6th - August 14th. To register, all available slots will be available in the activity area of this website.  Due to Covid-19 limitations, all participants must be pre-registered for safety and preparation purposes.  WPSA will make all efforts to coordinate, organize, and maintain this previously implemented program  that has been extended to the general public.  NOTE: Due to COVID-19, WPSA will monitor and evaluate the availability of this program daily for the distribution to the general public (defined as parties not enrolled in WPSA Session based programs) which is solely at the discretion of the WPSA organization.  Please note that the results of this evaluation could result in the immediate discontinuance of the general public portion of the summer youth 18 years and under meal service.   Registrants must pre-register for meals (breakfast and/or lunch) for in-person pickup ONLY available at the Weequahic Park Feldman Middleton Jr. Community Center, 92 Thomas Carmichael Drive, Newark, NJ.  Please note that registrations must be in the child's name in your household accounts for service.  Same day registrations are subject to the WPSA organization approval/denial process and may not be available during meal service. All items are sponsored by our Food Bank Partners are done as Good Samaritans. The Weequahic Park Sports Authority Summer Youth Meal Service is made available through the local non-profit to help reduced hunger for ages 18 years old and under during the summer months through volunteerism.   Currently, the Covid-19 crisis has further created declines of standardized living for the many households and families of this region for access to healthy food in which this program will assist with these efforts. We are working with our local community partner (CFBNJ) to provide summer youth meals for ages 18 years old and under Monday-Friday beginning July 6th - August 14th. To register, all available slots will be available in the activity area of this website.  Due to Covid-19 limitations, all participants must be pre-registered for safety and preparation purposes.  WPSA will make all efforts to coordinate, organize, and maintain this previously implemented program  that has been extended to the general public.  NOTE: Due to COVID-19, WPSA will monitor and evaluate the availability of this program daily for the distribution to the general public (defined as parties not enrolled in WPSA Session based programs) which is solely at the discretion of the WPSA organization.  Please note that the results of this evaluation could result in the immediate discontinuance of the general public portion of the summer youth 18 years and under meal service.   Registrants must pre-register for meals (breakfast and/or lunch) for in-person pickup ONLY available at the Weequahic Park Feldman Middleton Jr. Community Center, 92 Thomas Carmichael Drive, Newark, NJ.  Please note that registrations must be in the child's name in your household accounts for service.  Same day registrations are subject to the WPSA organization approval/denial process and may not be available during meal service. All items are sponsored by our Food Bank Partners are done as Good Samaritans. The Weequahic Park Sports Authority Summer Youth Meal Service is made available through the local non-profit to help reduced hunger for ages 18 years old and under during the summer months through volunteerism.   Currently, the Covid-19 crisis has further created declines of standardized living for the many households and families of this region for access to healthy food in which this program will assist with these efforts. We are working with our local community partner (CFBNJ) to provide summer youth meals for ages 18 years old and under Monday-Friday beginning July 6th - August 14th. To register, all available slots will be available in the activity area of this website.  Due to Covid-19 limitations, all participants must be pre-registered for safety and preparation purposes.  WPSA will make all efforts to coordinate, organize, and maintain this previously implemented program  that has been extended to the general public.  NOTE: Due to COVID-19, WPSA will monitor and evaluate the availability of this program daily for the distribution to the general public (defined as parties not enrolled in WPSA Session based programs) which is solely at the discretion of the WPSA organization.  Please note that the results of this evaluation could result in the immediate discontinuance of the general public portion of the summer youth 18 years and under meal service.   Registrants must pre-register for meals (breakfast and/or lunch) for in-person pickup ONLY available at the Weequahic Park Feldman Middleton Jr. Community Center, 92 Thomas Carmichael Drive, Newark, NJ.  Please note that registrations must be in the child's name in your household accounts for service.  Same day registrations are subject to the WPSA organization approval/denial process and may not be available during meal service. All items are sponsored by our Food Bank Partners are done as Good Samaritans. To register, all available slots will be available in the activity area of this website.  Due to Covid-19 limitations, all participants must be pre-registered for safety and preparation purposes.  WPSA will make all efforts to coordinate, organize, and maintain this previously implemented program  that has been extended to the general public.  NOTE: Due to COVID-19, WPSA will monitor and evaluate the availability of this program daily for the distribution to the general public (defined as parties not enrolled in WPSA Session based programs) which is solely at the discretion of the WPSA organization.  Please note that the results of this evaluation could result in the immediate discontinuance of the general public portion of the summer youth 18 years and under meal service.   Registrants must pre-register for meals (breakfast and/or lunch) for in-person pickup ONLY available at the Weequahic Park Feldman Middleton Jr. Community Center, 92 Thomas Carmichael Drive, Newark, NJ.  Please note that registrations must be in the child's name in your household accounts for service.  Same day registrations are subject to the WPSA organization approval/denial process and may not be available during meal service. All items are sponsored by our Food Bank Partners are done as Good Samaritans. 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM    WPSA Summer Youth Meal Service (Pre-registration required for ages 18 yrs. and under) - Lunch (Youth Summer Meals)
The Weequahic Park Sports Authority Summer Youth Meal Service is made available through the local non-profit to help reduced hunger for ages 18 years old and under during the summer months through volunteerism.   Currently, the Covid-19 crisis has further created declines of standardized living for the many households and families of this region for access to healthy food in which this program will assist with these efforts. We are working with our local community partner (CFBNJ) to provide summer youth meals for ages 18 years old and under Monday-Friday beginning July 6th - August 14th.
