For Friday reservations, access to the community room cannot start until 2:00 PM. The party must clean up, remove trash, and vacate the premises by 8:30pm or the renter will be assessed the extended time fee of $50.00 per hour at 8:31pm. Fee must be paid in full on the day of the event. Maximum extended time hourly rental up to 9:30pm.
For Saturday and Sunday reservations, access to the community room cannot start until 12:00PM. The party must clean up, remove trash, and vacate the premises by 6:00pm or the renter will be assessed the extended time fee of $50.00 per hour at 6:31PM. Fee must be paid in full on the day of the event. Maximum extended time hourly rental up to 9:30pm.
Cancellations within 14 days or less of event are not eligible for any refund and will result in the forfeit of the entire rental fee for Incidental Charges. The option of a future rental date will be at the sole discretion of the WPSA.
Cancellations occurring 15 to 30 days before event date will be assessed 75% of the rental rate fee for incidental charges.
Cancellations occurring 30 days and before will be eligible for refund of additional payments made except the non-refundable deposit.CLEAN UP
All food and beverage debris, decoration, supplies (indoor/outdoor), displays, and other trash must be picked up, bagged, and removed from the property by renter. The Facility must be left in the original condition including surrounding grounds (Playground/fields/roadway areas). Failure to comply with any of these requirements will result in loss of future rental options.
Helium balloons usage/Cleanup deposit is $25.00 (Refundable upon successful interior inspection).
Helium Balloons will be allowed if tied down to an object on either the table or floor. The balloons must be secured to avoid floating around the fans in the ceiling. The Helium Balloon Usage Deposit WILL NOT be refunded if THE ROOM IS LEFT UNCLEAN AND/OR ANY UNSECURED/FLOATING BALLOONS are left in the community room from as a result from your rental use. No Alcohol beverages are permitted on the premises
No staples, tacks, glue, tape (masking/scotch), nails, and/or other wall/ceiling ornaments may be used to attach decorations on walls. No paint may be applied. No glitter, confetti, bird seeds, or sparklers may be used.INCLEMENT WEATHER
The renter will have the option of selecting a future available date in the event of extreme weather conditions in which the facility and/or the main park is closed for usage. These weather conditions are deemed as Acts of God beyond the control of WPSA and the County of Essex. Any disputes regarding this matter must be handled directly with the Weequahic Park Sports Authority office to resolve.
